The Directions Program serves people who have been convicted of a nonviolent felony, have a Substance Use Disorder, and have a high risk of reoffending.

Recovery Residences + Intensive Outpatient Treatment

The Directions Program offers stability, safety, and structure.

Through a partnership with Recovery Group of Southern West Virginia, the SRDRC provides professional treatment services for 10 male and 10 female residents of RGSWV’s facilities. Participants receive:

• Individualized intensive outpatient treatment
• Recovery-oriented housing
• Individual and Group therapy
• Psychological Evaluations
• Life Skill Development
• Random Urine Drug Screening
• Intensive Case Management Services
• Recovery Coaching

The Treatment Team, composed of a Masters-Level Counselor, a Community Resource Specialist, and a Recovery Coach, utilizes a “people first” approach. The Treatment Team visits the recovery homes once a week, and most referral interviews are conducted in person, either at the regional jail or at the SRDRC.
